Hillcrest Baptist Church was located in East Lake at 7120 Kimberly Avenue . The congregation was founded in 1942 and the building erected in 1954. Its style of stone is unusual in its size and arrangement. Online county records state the the building is now owned by Tabernacle of Praise Ministries Inc.
