Mount Mineral Missionary Baptist Church sits on Vanderbilt Road just outside the Norwood neighborhood in Birmingham. It is a curious name since I don’t know of any nearby rises known as Mt. Mineral. And of course it is not a biblical name. If you know the origin, let me know.
