Birmingham Churches and their Cornerstones 98
This Pentecostal Church was erected in 1962 in honor of the service of two pastors of the church. Presumably one was the former pastor at the time. It sits on a lovely hill side on a quite road near Red Gap, though the sounds of nearby roads, an interstate, and a railroad, probably often disturb its mountain tranquility. Its cornerstone is unusual in that it is black. The building’s address is 7267 Higdon Road.
