Birmingham Churches and Their Cornerstones 32

God Faith Cathedral, or God’s Faith Cathedral as it appears in city directories is located at 502 6th Street North in Birmingham’s Smithfield neighborhood, just west of downtown. The cornerstones state that the congregation was founded in 1985 and that this building was dedicated in 1990. The founder and pastor was Ernest T. Munez, Sr. Interestingly all of the trustees were women.
